SDSL (Symmetric Digital Subscriber Line) is a DSL-based technology enabling symmetric data-transfer over a telephone network. Unlike the ADSL which offers asymmetric transfer with faster downloads and slower uploads, SDSL features the same upstream and downstream speeds. SDSL is primarily marketed to small and medium business enterprises that require a stable and fast connection but do not wish to invest in a leased line.
